Big Cottonwood Canyon and Salt Lake City have a variety of lodging options to fit your needs. For racers, the LOC suggests that you lodge in Solitude Village during the race weekend due to weather and traffic concerns. All Solitude Village acomodations include breakfast, wax rooms, and access to a gym and pool area.

The Inn at Solitude – Rooms feature either a king or two queen beds, private bath, and amenities.

Studio Condo – Units feature either a king, a queen, or two queen beds, one bath, and amenities.

One-Bedroom Condo – Units feature one bedroom, at least one bath, and amenities.

One-Bedroom + Den Condo – Units feature one bedroom, one den, at least one bath, and amenities.

Two-Bedroom Condo – Units feature two bedrooms, at least two baths, and amenities.

Salt Lake City Accommodations

Rental cars are required for all Salt Lake Valley accommodations and will need 4-wheel drive and snow tires for travel up and down the canyon. Please see our Location page for more deails on road conditions.

Parking

Head 13 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon (SR-190) from Salt Lake City to Solitude. Fly into SLC International Airport, hop in a shuttle or rent a car, and arrive at Solitude 34 miles later.

Parking and car rental info from Solitude Resort

While parking normally requires a reservation, no reservation is required before December 21, 2025. Parking is provided with those who are staying at Solitude Village.
